    We can deliver anywhere on the mainland of Ireland.

The 2011 GripSock from Bottari is designed with 3 mesh textile inserts that improve your traction and handling on the road. The 3 polyurethane mesh sections give added protection on icy and snow covered roads.

Installation is quick and easy. Simply slip the sock over the top and sides of your tyre. Then move the car slightly forward to produce the bottom of the tyre. That's it! slip the last section of the GripSock over the bottom of the tyre and you are off in a Flash!

Perfect for giving you that added level of traction without the hassles and road destruction of tyre snow chains. The GripSock is designed for short lasting, sporadic snow falls, where chains are often not the right choice.

 Manufactured in Italy the GripSock Evolution is ideal for the our winter, where we experience sudden and sporadic snow fall, usually short lasting, but so often the cause of massive disruption and inconvenience while it lasts. Summer tyres are not suitable for snow, ice and sleet conditions – the GripSock Evolution is the ideal cost effective “always have in the car” solution.
 
 Each set contains:

- One pair of GripSock Evolution Socks in a reusable storage bag
- A pair of elbow length plastic gloves to protect your sleeves when fitting from wet & dirt
- A plastic sheet to protect clothing wheel kneeling

Fitting Instructions

1) Stop the vehicle and apply the handbrake. Fit Snow Sock to the driving / drive wheels of the car, starting at the top of the tyre and working downwards. Simply slip the elasticated edge over the wheel.
2) Move the vehicle approximately 1 metre (move back if the surface prevents forward movement)
3) Put the remainder of each Sock in to position.
4) The Evolution GripSock will automatically self-centre when you start driving. There is only one possible way to fit the Snow Sock and no practice is required.
There is NO need to turn off any electronic traction and stability devices, e.g. ETS, ASR, ESP, DSC. Drive off gently, avoiding wheel spin. Extreme acceleration and braking will damage the product.

Removal

1) Stop the vehicle and apply the handbrake. Pull the Sock down off the wheel
2) Move the vehicle approximately 1 metre forward and roll off the bottom edge
3) Fold neatly and put back in to storage bag for reuse.

Notes on Correct Use

-Please note: The more you drive on clear roads / gritted tarmac, the faster they will wear out
- The GripSock Evolution is built to get you going, out of trouble or over that hill and not for prolonged use. You should take them off once on a gritted or clear road.
- The GripSock Evolution is designed to be used on tarmac / asphalt road with Snow & Ice
- Off road conditions where the road is uneven will tear / damage the fabric
- Continued use on roads where Ice / Snow is clear will wear down the fabric so it is recommended to take off the GripSock Evolution once dry road is reached
- Do not exceed 40 kph. Do not make sudden braking or acceleration movements. Turn smoothly to avoid skidding - i.e no sudden / jerky movements.
- Reduce speed further on wet snow - especially if mixed with pebble gravel
- Dry socks before packing away after use and wash with cold water at Winters end to store away for next season
- Do not leave them on Overnight as they will freeze over and be ineffective

Suitable for

- All Passenger cars
- All 4x4 vehicles (fit to the front wheels)
- LCV vehicles (eg Berlingo , Caddy etc (less than 2000kg / 2 Ton fully loaded)
- Not suitable for Vans (eg Transit, Vito etc)
